Granstrom Farms, LLC. is located in South Central Nebraska, 30 miles south of I-80. We are on the eastern edge of the arid Nebraska Sandhills, situated between the Platte and Republican River Valleys. Our annual rainfall is 23 inches. Our soil types very from sandy to clay. We’re at 2020 feet elevation. Our growing season runs from April to October. Our average winter day is around 20 degrees F and our summer days get into the mid 80s with extremes at either end of the scale. We’re 28 miles from the main Union Pacific rail and nine miles from the Burlington Northern rail line. Our central location provides us with many opportunities in multiple shipping lanes.
